Midtown Plaza is closed, inlcuding all skyway entrances to the property and the skyway connections between the Xerox and Bausch and Lomb Buildings.

The Midtown Parking Garage closed on Sept. 30, 2008. A parking relocation plan has been developed to accommodate the 1,300 current Midtown Parking Garage customers to make their transition as convenient as possible. The City has re-opened the Mortimer St. Garage and currently charges $35 per month for monthy parking passes at that location. Alternative parking options include the East End and St. Joseph's Parking Garages.

City staff is working closely with the Rochester Police Department and the Rochester Downtown Development Corporation's Downtown Special Services team to maintain public safety in and around Midtown as pedestrian and parking circulation paths change.

News on how the project impacts downtown pedestrian and vehicle traffic will be continuously updated on this website.
